The Lab Creative Arts
The Lab currently offers weekly classes in dance (hip hop, house, bboying, grooves) and fitness classes such as tumbling, gymnastics, and MMA Muay Thai Kickboxing. Many groups use the facility for photo shoots, video sets, and audition/rehearsal space. It is not uncommon for a competitive cheer-leading group to be working on their set in the gym, while a group of folks have filled the large room with yoga mats for a Pilate’s class. At the same time, there might be a hair stylist doing a photo shoot featuring their latest cut and in a different room, a group of dancers preparing their routine for a big performance. On the weekends, we hold banquets, parties, bboy jams, barber battles, workshops, photo shoots, and the list goes on and on! One thing is certain, The Lab is always buzzing with people from all walks of life, who have an appreciation or interest in health, happiness, and creativity.
Rated 4.0 Hard to put into words what The Lab really means to my children and I. We have been part of this family for 7 years and it's one of the best decision I've ever made for my kids. Carrie and Val inspire, teach, guide, mentor, and love The Lab kids in a way I've never witnessed before. I am honored to be part of this family and am grateful for the opportunities my kids have been blessed with!
Rated 4.0 I love this studio! I get to learn new dance moves and routines while getting in a great workout. I attend the adult hip hop class on Thursdays at 8:15p with Max Libao our dance choreographer who is an amazing instructor and person. Class also rocks cause DJ Ces Boogie on the 1s and 2s playing new & old skool jamz. Made a lot of cool friends, very warm-welcoming, positive and like family here. Great environment for anyone who loves and is looking to dance.
