I, a Ukrainian piano teacher with bachelor's degree in teaching piano from Ukraine, which I got in 1973, and 45 years of teaching experience, do enjoy teaching software engineers and children of software engineers. We share the belief in the importance of education, appreciation of the arts, and we have similar parenting styles. Plus, I found out how those adults (Asian engineers) want to Learn and to have their children Learn. I guess, I'm a true finding for them because I Teach BOTH- a child and a parent! To my great surprise, some parents of the youngest children ( 3-5 year-olds) do not want to be taught. We need to talk about it! I've been a member of Music teachers' association of California. We talk not only about the musical pieces but also about the lives of composers, the hardship they have experienced, and the masterpieces they've left to stay for centuries. As a classically trained pianist, I am skilled at teaching pieces of any level of difficulty. Parents of my students are always present at their lessons video recording them, which gives them an opportunity to control the children at home and help them. Because, besides my degree in piano, I have a certificate in early childhood education, I know well how to deal not only with school-age children, but also with toddlers. I admit three-year-olds to my class, and their lessons are shared between a child, who takes 30 minutes of the lesson time, and a parent, who in the beginning ( for 2-3 months) takes 15 mi
