This is the founding principle of Tutu School. We believe that motor skill development is infinitely enhanced by Tchaikovsky and Bach that young imaginations benefit immensely from exploring the enchanted worlds of swans and sugar plums and that twirling should be a fundamental part of any childhood. As a former English teacher with a master’s degree in education, Charlene Rawson brings a passion for enrichment and learning to her role as the owner of Tutu School San Dimas. Equally important, as the mother of an adorable two year-old, she also brings to her position a thorough understanding of all things related to twirling. Charlene grew up with dance in her life, and now wants to nurture a place in her neighborhood where children can experience ballet for the first time in a way that is truly magical. Because of her background in education, she can ensure a commitment to maintaining a faculty of carefully selected Tutu School teachers that are as excellent as they are enchanting. Already a business owner in her community, Charlene is beyond thrilled to continue to connect with the families of San Dimas and the surrounding area through a whole lot of leaping and twirling!
