My daughters have been learning bharatanatyam from Malini aunty for the past 5 years. Aunty is amazing with kids and knows how to make the classes both fun and disciplined. They picked up the basics really quickly. Unlike other dance schools, Natyanjali school strictly follows the orthodox traditional parampara. Besides dancing, my girls also learn a lot about Indian culture in her classes. Most of the dance videos are uploaded to the website's learning module, which is really helpful for practicing at home. Despite her age, she is very active and hands-on during class. I also appreciate her attention to every detail, from makeup and music to photography and ethnic dressing. We had a fantastic experience during the annual performance. There are also performances during Dussera and at the temple for exposure. Even during the COVID year, she went the extra mile by conducting Zoom classes and additional rehearsal sessions before each performance.

I have been doing Odissi for the past seven years, and it’s honestly been such an amazing experience. I have learned a variety of dances such as Stayee, Basant Pallavi, and Mokshya. Along the way, I have met so many new people and made lifelong friends. Dancing has been a great learning experience for me because of the skills and technique involved. It was also incredible to gain more knowledge on Oriya culture, my culture, and meet others of different cultures as well. Gayatri Aunty is a talented and dedicated teacher who always wishes for her students to do well and become magnificent dancers. I was able to become the dancer I am today under her splendid guidance. Odissi has taught me to be patient and hardworking in order to see results. I am so glad that I am learning such a beautiful dance form— Odissi.

Anvita didi is literally the best Kathak teacher ever!!! She takes her time to teach you everything and really go in depth on it. Her classes are always fun and her choreography is incredible! If you want learn Kathak you absolutely have to learn from her!

Anvita is an awesome, amazing dancer and teacher! She’s so very graceful in her dancing and her students emulate that! It’s been an incredible journey of grace, joy, blissful dancing , learning beautiful footwork, postures, gestures, emotions and interpretation through dance for my daughter. Anvita is a loving, dedicated and committed person! I love the way she’s keeping the girls inspired and motivated during these current uncertain and challenging times through her Zoom classes!

Anvita is a beautiful Kathak dancer and a great teacher. She breaks it down so well, which is essential for adult beginners like me. I was so intimidated before starting the class but Anvita made me feel at ease immediately. I feel blessed to be able to learn from her.

Please don't think again if you want to learn kathak. Anvita is a thorough teacher. She helps in every step of learning this beautiful dance form, the music, theory, and the dance. She individually carves out time for her students if you don't get a step. Her classes are good sized so she can pay individual attention to every participant. She is kind, generous, and meticulous in her craft, not only as a dancer (she looks divine when she dances) but also as a teacher. I am grateful to learn from her.

We love Bhairavi ji and her academy, she has been a Guru for my daughter since last 11years and has been instrumental in creating the passion for Indian Classical Dance for our daughter who is seeking to achieve a diploma in coming years.
