We worked with John for our engagement shoot, and enjoyed every bit of the experience. Even though we were running late for our appointment, John accommodated us very kindly, and worked with us to complete our 3 looks for our engagement shoot. He was very patient, and professional. He guided us with poses, and expressions to make us look and feel our best. Overall, it turned out to be a fantastic experience, and one that we highly recommend to others considering similar shoots!

Planning a wedding is so daunting. We learned early on that the food, photo booth, entertainment, etc were mostly for the guests and that the photos and vows were the two things that really were for US. I'm so thankful that John was available to shoot our wedding. I looked into him because he came highly recommended by my family and my others vendors & on-site coordinator knew of him and his work. He is so experienced that he gave us invaluable tips on how to enjoy the wedding day while getting us SO MANY amazing shots. He came with a second photographer and both of them were on time, super relaxed and went the extra distance. He's so creative and works on the fly. We had a mad men flair and he took the most gorgeous shots of us sipping cocktails, reading books, etc. If anything you won't be able to keep up with him! During a lull in the reception he snuck us out to our reception's rooftop and shot some gorgeous time-sensitive photos when the light was just right. My husband and I are pretty shy and awkward in front of the camera too but he knows how to direct you to pose to get the most flattering shots. I would recommend getting your engagement photos shot by him too. It really helped us to practice being comfortable in front of the camera. On the big day it was a breeze. My MOH had such a pleasant experience too and was so impressed by our photos that shes booked him for her wedding this August. I'd like to keep my wedding photos private but I have uploaded some photos John took for us at our wedding party meet and greet crawfish party that we hosted prior to the wedding. The photos are casual but a tiny snippet of how talented he is!

John and Greycard Photography are amazing!! I was the maid of honor in my friend's wedding and I really loved how John and his team made us all feel very comfortable in front of the camera. When I saw how my friend's wedding photos turned out, I just knew I had to book John for my wedding as well. John and his assistant photographer were absolutely wonderful on our special day. They were professional, stayed on schedule and captured so many beautiful candid moments. We got our photos recently and are so impressed! Our ceremony and family photos were perfect and I'm very happy to have had John's artistic eye and skills capture moments that we weren't able to experience with our guests because we were so busy that day. I'm super awkward in front of the camera and John helped me feel at ease and helped guide me through the process, even though I felt so shy and silly. He has a laid-back style but also has a very strong work ethic - he and his assistant were in the middle of the action all night, documenting every moment. We had a great experience with Greycard for our wedding. It was a South Asian wedding so sometimes finding a photographer who is both artistic but familiar with the customs can be a challenge and John nailed them both. We have amazing pictures at our venue and I could not be happier with the results. We got beautiful pictures without having to break the bank as many wedding photographers can get quite pricey. Having beautiful photos was one of the top things on my wishlist as far as what I wanted for the wedding and I was not disappointed. Great to work with and great photos!

First let me start off by saying that Greycard Photography was the perfect fit for us!!! John was pleasant, caring and made us both feel very comfortable. I have read some of the comments regarding Greycard being homophobic and I myself did not have that experience! John from day one was very considerate and caring to my wife Laura and myself!! He was also very informative and took as much time as we needed at our initial appointment. From day one I was very excited to have Greycard be apart of our big day!! The pricing and packages were also very reasonable!! John himself shot our engagement session in Old Town Orange!! He recommended that location and we absolutely Loved it!!! He worked so hard at getting the perfect shots and we LOVE all of our engagement photos!! We had to change the date of our wedding due to issues with our venue and because of this John could not shoot our wedding due to prior booking. He recommended Jose to be our photographer that day and we both felt very comfortable with Jose and LOVED his work. Jose went above and beyond for us and our photos came out better than we could have ever expected!! My wife Laura and I could not have been any happier with our choice to use Greycard Photography!!! We had the great pleasure of hiring John at Greycard Photography for our wedding events. John did an amazing job with his team at our wedding. We just received our images and they are just simply amazing, not to mention the turn around time was so quick. We were also able to capture various different concepts including using sparklers for trail style lighting. We had Greycard Photography as our photographers at our wedding last year on June 6th, 2015 in Washington D.C. When my wife, Avneet, and I were searching for wedding vendors, we decided that photography was going to be one of the most important things to us. Based on our research and referrals from friends, we decided to go with Greycard Photography. John was easy to work with and very responsive to emails and phone calls. John was our main photographer and we were very impressed with how professional and fun it was to work with him. They were constantly shooting and always had an idea for the next pose ready to go. They all worked really hard to get the perfect shot! We are very happy with our photos and it was very difficult to decide and select a certain amount to include in our wedding album, but John was very helpful and patient with us. There were so many photos that we loved! He took the time to listen to our suggestions to put our final draft together. All in all, Avneet and I have nothing but great things to say about Greycard Photography and if you're on the fence about going with them, just do it, you definitely won't regret it!

I'm extremely late in this review but John of Greycard Photography covered both our engagement shoot and wedding and is a delight to work with. He was very professional, considerate and calm the entire experience and helped keep me calm on my wedding day! I was impressed by the way he was able to wrangle people as well. Absolutely amazing photographers!!! John did our engagement session and Jose did our wedding and we were more than happy with our photos! We will definitely be calling them when we get pregnant for maternity photos! They are professional, prompt, and so laid back. We highly recommend them!

When looking for a wedding photographer, my husband and I had no idea where to start. Everyone kept telling us that our wedding photos were the one thing that we would have years down the line so we wanted to make sure we hired a great photographer to capture every moment of our big day. We're so happy we went with Greycard Photography! We had our wedding at the Altadena Town & Country Club and went with Greycard Photography because they were highly recommended by the venue. John did our engagement photos and wedding photos. We were so pleased with our engagement photos that we were excited to have them shoot our wedding. I was a bit disappointed when they showed up 10-15 minutes late for photos at our wedding. And on top of that, John informed me that the second photographer had an emergency and wasn't going to make it. He assured me that he had reached out to other photographers to see if any of them were available to fill in. A second photographer showed up about an hour later and stayed longer than we hired him for (We hired a second photographer for 4 hours and he ended up staying for 7 hours). Despite the set-backs at the start of our wedding, our photos came out beautifully. We've gotten so many compliments about our photos and couldn't be happier!

We had the pleasure of working with John for our engagement shoot and Sangeet. I can't express enough gratitude for John's work on our engagement shoot. He was able to get us into pictures and poses that really reflected US specifically - not the generic hollywood (or bollywood, if that's what you're into - no judgement) poses that most people ask for. He also captured a really good variety of fun poses, serious ones, and poses that came out spectacular. He is an amazing photographer, and a very professional yet friendly person. He really put us at ease doing something I in particular am not at all comfortable doing and brought out pictures that made me think I was the next Zoolander. He was also at our Sangeet, and he did an amazing job capturing everything, and making sure we got all of the relevant picture, plus a few more so that we could capture our event. Despite all the craziness, we will definitely have something to look forward to. Jason and the Greycard team was fantastic on our wedding day also. His calm yet assertive demeanor helped us get the pictures we were looking for while not making us feel rushed. He provided excellent opinions and guided us to fantastic shots - all while making us feel at ease and getting the pictures we actually wanted. We're really, really looking forward to seeing the final product(s), and we definitely, definitely recommend John, Jason and the Greycard team for big events like 500+ person Indian weddings.

Cloud 9 Photogrphay did a super job for my wedding! The photographer is professional, prior to the wedding she communicated with me on some of the things we couples like or avoid, and then she quickly caught the point and added her feedbacks and suggestions to help make things going. My husband and I were never looking this great on any photo, and by heart I thank Cloud 9 Photography to make my wedding day so beautiful.

Yun and her assistant Becky were amazing to work with! They captured both our engagement photos and our wedding day and the pictures turned out great from both days. Their photos are professional but have an artistic quality that makes them unique from other photographers we looked at. They really know how to capture a moment. On both days, Yun made sure to get our input on what kind of poses that we wanted and when we were at a loss, she had a suggestion. I hate getting my picture taken but I felt very relaxed with them.

If you have ever read their reviews, not surprisingly, they are AMAZING great as the others said. I would love to give them 6 stars out of five if possible!!! I especially want to thank for Yun Wang. She is one of the most responsible and professional person I have ever known!!!! She was recommended by my friend. After reading all Cloud 9 reviews and see all the photos, I decided to contact her. She is very nice and polite. All her team are so sweet and skillful. I had Cloud 9 for my engagement photos as well as wedding photos. I insisted on adding my dogs into theme. If you know, having dogs in shot is not easy. I sincerely apologize that I could not able to find one person to take care two dogs during engagement shoot, so one of photographers actually had to take care of my dogs when they were not in shot. Even thought this difficulty, we successfully finished shooting. THANK YOU!!! While during my wedding, they were always standing by and taking photo to recall all the moments. Pictures are so beautiful!!! Hiring Cloud 9 is the most accurate decision I have ever made. They also always early/on time to deliver our pictures even thought their schedules are full booked!!! (If you pay attention on their Facebook, you will know how busy they are!!!) Yun is always emailing me back within a day (I don't know how she could make this but she does!!) That is why I said she is very responsible. The only thing I regret is that I did not hire them as videographer. (I was limited by budget at first but I really regret that I did not do it!!!) While, luckily, Cloud 9 made slideshow for my wedding and it looks like a video. Even thought I do not have a really one, I very appreciate this. THANK YOU!!! Cloud 9 is honestly amazing. When searching for a wedding photographer I looked at around 20 photo albums and galleries and theirs was the only portfolio I actually fell in love with. They not only are amazing at what they do but are super personable. We used them for our engagement shoot, wedding and even a boudoir shoot as a gift for my husband. They are the most responsive photographer I know and all of my bridesmaids warned me they will be using Cloud 9 when they get married because of how impressed they were.
