Serving the community for the past 20 years, nurtured several students and made them into Classical Kuchipudi Dancers. Srilatha Suri has extensively performed in about 500 plus Kuchipudi solo and group performances in India and coast-to-coast expedition of the United States, and Trinidad and Tobago. Srilatha Suri has established Natyanjali Kuchipudi Dance School in Plano TX and expanded to Irving, Coppell to promote the exquisiteness of Kuchipudi in the DFW and produce quality performances in the community, and to impart quality, guiding the next generation of Indian Classical dancers to the premier standards. Srilatha has been widely appreciation for her efforts in encouraging and supporting students who have been recognized for their exceptional artistic achievements both in USA as well as India. She has also been recognized by the Mayor of Cupertino and Mayor of garland TX for her choreography and presentation. Local USA based National organisations like TANA,TANTEX,NATS Silicon Andhra ,Balaji temple of Arora, Vidyadhanam Ekal vidyalaya ,Sankara eye foundaion Global Hindu Heritage have greatly appreciated her choreography as well as her presentations. She has recognized by AP State Cultural Council and Department of Culture for her propagation of Kuchipudi in the USA. Her school - NKDS, offers a great opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to learn the beautiful dance form of Kuchipudi. I am so grateful for the guidance, support, expertise and patience that both my daughters get from this school and from their teacher and student instructors. They are always so excited to go for their dance class!
Rated 5.0 Srilatha mam is a wonderful person and a very talented dance teacher. She is very creative and works very hard to ensure the progress of her students. She treats her students like family and is very patient in answering the concerns of parents and students. I had the privilege of learning dance from her in the past and was there for few annual day celebrations. If I hadn't moved away from dallas, I would still be learning dance from her and happily performing as part of her school. Her students are always with beautiful costumes and make-up, adding to the entire experience. i would strongly recommend Natyanjali Kuchipudi dance school to anyone looking for their kids to learn dance. It is definitely the best dance school teaching Indian classical dance in the Dallas area.
