Kc S Tandoor
In 1982, the Israni family emigrated from India to the United States, where they settled in the San Diego area. Kamlesh Israni soon became known in the community for her modern interpretations of classic Indian dishes as well as her talent for marrying the casual with the gastronomic. In 1988, Chef Kamlesh was asked to cater a private event for the San Diego Symphony, and her clientele quickly grew. Having not yet created a business model, she simply billed her clients under the name Kamlesh’s Catering. Two years later, she opened her first restaurant: Kamlesh’s Catering (Kc’s) Tandoor.
Rated 4.0 Nice food.
Rated 5.0 Love the Chicken Tika Masala
Rated 5.0 My favorite India restaurant in San Diego. Good decor, delicious food and talented cooks
Rated 5.0 I love this place. I lived in India for several years and as far as I'm concerned KC Tandor is by far the best Indian restaurant around. We used to go to Passages of India, but sorry passages of India you don't hold a candle to KC Tandor. Bi would recommend this place to anyone that wants authentic yummy Indian food. Side note: Prices are very reasonable.
