Raksha
Bollywood is a free-style dance form that has emerged and become popular in the last few years. It involves classical and regional dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Bhangra etc. It is also a fusion of western dance forms like Jazz, Hip-hop and Modern Dance. The term 'Bollywood' itself, comes from the Indian (Hindi) movie Industry, based out of Mumbai. Because of its vibrance, Bollywood dance is becoming widely international and is danced in shows like 'So you think you can Dance,Dancing with the stars' and the like. I am Raksha and I LOVE dance. I am a trained Indian classical (Bharatanatyam) dancer and have studied Bollywood dance too. I have experience performing, choreographing and teaching students of all ages.
