Rated 5.0 Howard is an extremely well informed and honest individual, and I trust hi to take care of a ll my needs. I went to the Data Doctors on Camelback and 16th street, paid $35.00 for an assessment, and the one guy there was just a condescending dork. Talked to me like the IT character from Saturday Night Live that Mike Myers used to play. They wanted to charge me $350.00 for fixing something, which I did not really understand and I am a pretty intelligent person. I just got a bad feeling about them. I called Howard, he did a check on my computer , spoke intelligently, easy to understand, and got my slow running computer running great for under $100.00 and did not charge for the assessment which contradicted what Data Doctors told my. Small business is the way to go, with personal service, and great results .
Rated 5.0 My 86 year old Mom's computer just quit working one day. I suspected it might be the power supply. I live in Florida, she is in Phoenix. I called one computer place and they said they could look at it for no charge at the front but if they couldn't diagnose at the front, she would have to pay $59.99 for a diagnose fee. I told them it was probably just the power supply. She took it to them, they couldn't tell "at the front" and she would have to pay the diagnose fee. She left with her computer and didn't pay for the diagnose fee. I searched on-line and found Compudoc. I called and left a message and within 5 minutes I had a return call from Howard. I explained the situation and he said he does not charge to diagnose what is wrong with the computer. He was very professional and I felt comfortable recommending him to my Mom. She took it to Howard and he confirmed it was the power supply. Because my Mom's computer was still under warranty, the warranty company sent the part to Howard. My Mom was very appreciative of Howard's promptness, honesty and knowledge and will be recommending him to all her friends.
