Nritya Laya Darpan are of varied sizes ranging from 1-to-1 sessions to group classes, to anyone interested with or without prior experience. Intensive and holistic experience of learning is provided along with lessons on theoretical aspects of the art form. ?Interested children (6 and up) and adults are welcome to call for further information and details about classes and timings.? By the time I was 13, my Guru Shri. K.J.Govindarajan had decided that I was ready for an arangetram (maiden performance) and ensured that it was executed with a lot of effort that came from me.It was after that performance, that dance struck as a spiritual connection and I was drawn even closer to it. Every day ever since, it has unfolded in several different ways. To keep the passion burning in me, I continue to refine and learn intricate nuances under the able tutelage of Smt. Kalaivani Rajmohan, Smt. Gayatri Subramaniam, and presently under the training of internationally acclaimed artiste and teacher Guru Smt. Vidhya Subramaniam.
