She holds the master’s degree in Bharatanatyam. Today she runs her own institute by the name of “Atulya Nritya” specializing in imparting teachings in the Bharatanatyam dance form. At Atulya Nritya she also give numerous opportunities for the students to perform on stage and various other national and international events. “Atulya Nritya” has branches in Gurgaon, India and Plano, USA. Her students, have won awards in numerous international dance and drama competitions and festivals like World Cultural Festival, Bal Kala Utsava, Cultural Exchange program with Australia and Dances of India. Her students are looked at with high esteem in their individual schools and frequently perform and at various functions and local events organized by these institutes. Purnniema herself is an accomplished dancer with many performances to her credit. She performs for various cultural social organizations and dance festivals.
