Satish Tare, and now continues to study tabla as a disciple of Pandit Anindo Chatterjee, renowned maestro of the Farrukabad Gharana. Vishan also receives guidance in accompaniment from Pt. Partha Chatterjee, accomplished sitarist of the Maihar gharana. Vishan is a Visharad from Akhil Bharatiya, Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and is attending San Jose State University, where he is pursuing a degree in Computer Science.
