Uma Dhanapal is a renowned Bharathanatyam dancer, formally trained since the age of 4 yrs by Guru Smt. Subhadra Parbhu, Nataraja Kala Mandir, Bangalore, India. She has performed for numerous events in India and US. She holds a dance degree in Bharathanatayam, her passion for dance led her to explore various other dance forms as well. Uma choreographs for various events in the Bay Area and strives to bring out the best in her dancers. She loves the challenge of making a person with two left feet dance. Her area of expertise varies from Indian Classical to Folk and Semi-classical .
