Niosha Dance Academy, founded by Niosha Nafei in 1992, preserves, produces, and performs traditional and contemporary dances from the Iranian/Persian cultural world. The Niosha Dance Academy provides classes for individuals interested in learning these dances, and provides performances for the Iranian American community, American community, and in international venues. Through its classes and performances, Niosha Dance Academy provides information and education about Iranian culture, tradition, and history, and serves as a cultural representation of that community. Our aim is to create a platform for aspiring talent, young and the young at heart to receive structured dance training in various styles of traditional and modern Persian dance as well as belly dancing. starting from age 4 under structural instruction, NDA builds sense of community, team work, appreciation for dance and music. through numbers of performances NDA members gain valuable and memorable experiences.

Rated 5.0 I recently worked with Niosha to plan a Persian wedding ceremony and 30th wedding anniversary party. Finding and collaborating with Niosha and her talented team of dancers was the best decision I made! Our wedding/celebration included many of the traditional elements of a Persian wedding along with dance performances by NDA and a special dance performance by me and my daughters, choreographed by Niosha. Without exception, all of our guests commented that they were thoroughly entertained throughout the evening and were thrilled to be introduced to an authentic Persian celebration. Niosha is efficient, organized, professional, calm and sweet and a wonderful collaborator. Members of her dance team are lovely talented young women whom any young girl would surely aspire to emulate.
