About GURUJI
From the humble beginnings of a noble Brahmin family that hailed from the village of Kanwal Gyanpur, in Varanasi, there came the founder of the Brahmrishi Mission, Gurudev Brahmrishi Swami Vishwatma Bawraji Maharj. Youngest of three, he sought little interest in formal education. Rather, he herded cows and wrestled throughout his childhood. As Guruji reached adulthood, the pull towards a sense of higher elevation brought him to H.H. Bhagwan Chandra Mauli Ji Maharaj, a great Yogi, whom Guruji fully surrendered to as a disciple.

Rated 5.0 The temple visit was so peaceful. We went there to perform Rudrabhishekam, and the priest Suman garu conducted the ritual beautifully. He was very patient and took the time to explain each step clearly, making the entire experience even more meaningful ????
Rated 5.0 ????The Shri SHIV Dham Hindu Temple is beautiful, peaceful and welcoming to all. The Swamiji(s) are very knowledgeable. The sculptures are just magnificent workmanship. I also really enjoy reading the emails as they are very eloquent, colorful, well-designed and most importantly, they explain the significance of auspicious dates/celebrations. ?? I started a new job May 2025 and decided rather than to treat my loved ones to a restaurant to celebrate after I received my 1st paycheck that I would much rather prefer to treat them to the Temple Canteen, which would be donations to the Temple as well. Therefore, I took my daughter, husband, parents, sister and uncle there to eat at the Canteen and we absolutely enjoyed the idlies, massala dossas, sambar, chutneys, and chai. We will return again as we crave the flavors??. We are also looking forward to the Summer Camp they are offering for kids. It's so nice to know that even if you cannot or chose not to enter the Temple that you can still receive the blessings from the positive vibrations by simply driving around the Temple ???? I wish you all a very HAPPY HOLI today & always.
