On January 3, 2026, I discovered Shri Shiv Dham! One of my friends that I had been attending another temple with, invited me to experience 108 Hanuman Chalisa event at this temple. And, since that time, to this very moment, I have been coming to the temple. It is an intimate and family driven environment where you can connect with the divine and also be in sangha (spiritual community) with people who care about your development and expansion. One of my favorite experiences at the temple is just coming to serve and to volunteer on Saturday mornings! Between myself and a few other men, we get together at least once a week and clean the temple, inside and out. Also, you should check out all of our events and join the WhatsApp! The absolute best entrance to come to the temple is typically on Monday's at 6:30 in preparation for Shiv puja at 7:00, it's typically our most consistent and well attended weekly function, and from there you can discover the many events and opportunities to join in! Vyasji Maharaj officiated our Gujarati wedding this summer, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He was flexible, very personable, and did a wonderful job balancing Hindu tradition that were important to us with a modern feel. He went out of his way prior to the events to ensure we had all of our questions answered. Our guests could not stop talking about his kindness, his great sense of humor, and the positive message he delivered. He made our ceremony peaceful, lighthearted, yet deeply meaningful. I started a new job May 2025 and decided rather than to treat my loved ones to a restaurant to celebrate after I received my 1st paycheck that I would much rather prefer to treat them to the Temple Canteen, which would be donations to the Temple as well. Therefore, I took my daughter, husband, parents, sister and uncle there to eat at the Canteen and we absolutely enjoyed the idlies, massala dossas, sambar, chutneys, and chai. We will return again as we crave the flavors??. We are also looking forward to the Summer Camp they are offering for kids.
