English Writing Program, Introduction to English Writing

Rising 7th Grader with good academic standing, preferably with Algebra 1 in 7th grade. Children who haven’t opted Algebra 1 at school need to take an entrance test at Curie Learning to qualify for the program. Online program (learning quadrant) is highly recommended for students for practice & weekly assessment.

Curie English syllabus for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten & Grade 1: ?At Curie Learning we have interesting, fun activities to teach the universal language. Our tutors introduce phonetics and simple vocabulary through games. Kids of this age have short attention spans, so we have appropriate activities like sight words, word find to promote learning. For Grade 1, we teach scholastic skills like reading, cursive writing, grammar and vocabulary, which forms a foundation for future learning.
