Guru Pandita Archana Joglekar is one the topmost Kathak Dancers of India, and equally well known as a film and TV actress. She was awarded the prestigious titles "Nritya Bharati" and "Shringar Mani" for her outstanding contribution to Kathak. Archanaji is the Founder-Director of Archana Nrityalaya, a highly reputed Kathak Dance Academy. She has taught Kathak at Princeton University at Spring Semester for three years in a row and conducted lectures on invitation at Princeton University & Duke University. She has performed at Lincoln Center NYon invitation by Julliards Music School NY. India Archana ji is to date most saught after Guru by all the professional dancers and master level and PhD students whom she continues to guide.

The Nrityalaya is affilitated SAMVED Exam Board & provides certified bachelors and masters degree programs in Kathak dance based on the finest curriculum of Ivy league Universities in India. Archana Nrityalaya is the examination center and provides facility for all the Indian classical art students to take exams right upto Masters Level. The mission of the Nrityalaya is to train and groom fine Kathak dancers, present solo and group performances, and conduct workshops to promote the art of Kathak worldwide.
