Ratings & Reviews for Dance Classes
When we raised a serious concern about being bullied by another student, it was completely ignored. Rather than taking the matter seriously, the person in charge brushed it aside as if it didn’t matter, sending a clear message that student well-being means absolutely nothing here The lack of professionalism didn’t stop there. During the performance, instead of treating all dancers fairly, the student was deliberately placed at the far end of the stage—essentially hidden—despite putting in the same hard work and dedication as everyone else. It felt like a punishment for speaking up, a blatant act of favoritism and pettiness from someone who is supposed to be a mentor. The instructor does expect a lot of sweet talking and gift giving from the students and their parents and also fishes for constant validation and praise instead of the other way round - which is very strange A dance teacher should foster growth, confidence, and respect, not allow bullying to thrive and then silence those who dare to call it out. Supporting bullying breaks the spirit of the student and their confidence – which is counter intuitive to what dance must do! This was a toxic, discouraging environment where talent and effort are overshadowed by politics and immaturity Even the skill level of bhangra being taught is beginner to intermediate at best - no advanced level. After observing the other parents you realize they come here for passing time and socializing rather than learning any dance

It’s been a long journey with Archana Arts. The best experience so far. Tai is the best teacher to have around the kids. Literally I can see my daughter growing up so gracefully and elegantly under her care.
The show was amazing! Hats off to Archana Tai for working so hard to put this show together and to make it the best it can be. I had a guest from India who thoroughly enjoyed the performances and following are her own words: I would not have imagined to witness 3 and 1/2 hours of a pure classical show in the USA, which I have not even seen in India. The show was fabulous.
Year after year, the level of the performers keeps getting better. It is enthralling to see the progression of the little ones blossoming into such a fine dancers. But it would not have been possible if they had not find the Guru like Archana Tai. These kids are so blessed to have such Kathak legend like her in their life. And as the parents we are fortunate too. She and her faculty show students how far they have to go and what life long commitment to the art form means.

The Tribhangi: Understanding the Sculptural Language of Odissi Dance
