Ekta Popat is a disciple of Guru Smt. Shambhavi Dandekar and is training in the Benaras Gharana of Kathak. She hopes to give her students the same authentic training that she is fortunate to receive from her guru. Through discipline, focus, and fun Ekta hopes to share her passion and love for Kathak with all of her students. SSD is certified to conduct diploma examinations in Kathak. Students of SSD will be trained according to the syllabus determined by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in Pune, India.
