I was unsure about including live music at my Brazilian-Punjabi Sangeet. I originally only booked a DJ but adding live performances was a great decision. Vinay and Aparna were excellent. They understood the vibe I wanted and performed songs that resonated with everyone—Punjabi, Mehndi/Wedding classics, Bhangra, etc. Both Indian and non-Indian guests enjoyed themselves and danced. Right from taking vague ideas to executing it to perfection, he was amazing. My first experience with DJ Raj’s work was at my friend’s wedding where he provided music and lighting. The room was stunning and the music was incredible! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. I had such a great time I knew I had to book him for my wedding reception as well, and I am so glad I did. DJ Raj’s staff was so professional and provided our music, lights and a photo booth. DJ Sunny did an incredible job giving us exactly the right energy and vibe for our reception, especially after the management at our venue caused numerous problems throughout our event (Pearl Banquet in Hicksville, NY—definitely avoid!).
