Rated 5.0 My husband and I scoured the Sacramento and surrounding areas looking for venues for our wedding with a very tight time frame and budget. I called around to different places like the Flower Farm Inn to restaurants that accommodate large reception parties, like Sienna Restaurant in El Dorado Hills. After visiting each venue, reviewing prices, and making a list of pros and cons of each site, Granite Bay Golf Club (GBGC) was hands down the best option. The beautiful venue, alone, speaks for itself with a country-style wrap around porch and gorgeous views of the course. Their website does not lie when they refer to GBGC as a hidden gem. It is in a perfect location, secluded from noisy and busy streets, surrounded by lush greens and stunning views. We received, only, positive feedback from our guests with our choice in venue. Our guests loved the outdoor porch area with the convenient heat lamps. I remember watching as our guests took advantage of the spectacular view, snapping photo after photo. The rainy weather on our wedding day created perfect lighting for pictures and we did not hesitate to take advantage of photos on the course, despite my dress being dragged through a little bit of mud (sacrifices!). The food was great and fortunately we were able to come in to GBGC and taste our meal of choice, which was delicious.
