Ok so this suburb South Indian restaurant is actually a hidden gem. From the outside it seems like most restaurant but we took a chance and was surprised by the fresh quality of ingredients and how unique each dish tasted. Definitely try their dynamite chicken, it's spicy and delicious ??
Addictive, Authentic & Worth Every Bite! This is my second time enjoying a vegetarian meal at Tirukkupuswamy, and I can confidently say—it’s absolutely addictive and truly authentic. Some of the flavors lean toward Chettinad-style cooking, which makes it even more special. This is easily one of the best spots for vegetarian meals in the area. The spice level ranges from medium to slightly high, perfect if you enjoy bold flavors. They offer an unlimited thali experience served beautifully on a banana leaf over a plate. There’s an adult unlimited thali (around $20), a regular version, and even a kids’ unlimited thali (about $14). Be prepared for a wait—it’s that good. I highly recommend calling ahead or putting your name down in person. Trust me, it’s worth it. One of the standout details: ask for the paruppu podi with ghee. They bring it in a lovely three-cup set with paruppu podi, ghee, and the star of the show—an authentic, traditional sun-dried mango pickle. I’ve honestly never seen this level of authenticity in any restaurant before. While most places serve store-bought pickle, here you can taste the effort and tradition in every bite. The thali itself is a feast—variety of vegetables, fries, gravies, and a bread. During my visit, they served a flaky layered parotta, which was hands down one of the best in town—crispy, soft, and incredibly satisfying. You also get multiple fried items like cauliflower, okra, and sometimes mushroom fry. The whole experience feels like a “virundhu” (festival feast)—so many dishes, so much abundance. And the hospitality? Exceptional. The staff keeps coming back to serve you—you never have to ask or wait. It truly feels like being fed at home, with warmth and generosity. Just one warning—don’t try to finish everything! There’s so much food that you might need to book a cab instead of driving back home ??

Their menu is deeply rooted in traditional Tamil flavors, and every dish feels homemade and rich in character.
