Rated 5.0 My old laptop recently crashed and I wasn't able to get my files (documents, pictures, etc.) out. I talked to Dan Delaney about it, and he said that it was a problem with the CPU and that it would be best if I got a new laptop. So I did, and I asked him if he could transfer my old data onto my new laptop. Of course, being the amazing computer technician he is, he was able to. All my school essays and priceless photos are now safe and sound, thanks to Dan's help. SURE Computing is wonderful, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of computer repair!
Rated 5.0 Dan is great. He is personable, professional, and looks out for his customers. When my the fan in my laptop was having problems, Dan gave me a diagnosis quickly, gave me a range of possible solutions with a price estimate for each, and then fixed it promptly. When I had problems with my keyboard after that, he offered to look at it, but suggested ways I could fix the problem on my own. His suggestions worked perfectly! I'm definitely coming back to him with any computer problems I have in the future!
Rated 5.0 had trouble connecting laptop to wireless in the house. External usb wireless adapters were also not able connect, though tethering via my LG Stylo usb cable ...did (there is gig limit on high speed but it does still function but slower.) So he tracked the problem to some interference with the AGV ..AVG? ... anti virus program. He also sped up the computer considerably by deactivating some of those programs that partially load. They were really eating the ram use. Very reasonable price for solving tough problem, which I tried to work through with the geeks on the Craigslist computer forum. The only thing is that YELP did not say he is open by appt only, so I went to the shop thinking he would be open. As most mention, Dan is very bright and articulate. I told him what I had tried already. Anyway he was able to nail it and wireless and regular performance speed was restored. The photo here does not match the current location on Franklin Street. And chances are the the door into the hallway of the small office building might be locked entirely. So CALL AHEAD and make appt.
