Bharata Natyam is known for its grace, purity, tenderness, and sculptureque poses. Lord Shiva is considered the God of this dance form. Today, it is one of the most popular and widely performed dance styles and is practiced by male and female dancers all over the world . Nritta, Nrithya and Natyam being the main technical sections of Bharatanatyam,the dance form is based on 'Adavu'(steps) and 'Hasthamudra' (hand gestures) Theory is taught based on the books of 'Natya shasthram' and 'Abhinaya Darpanam'. Rubina offers Bharatnatyam classes for all age groups.

Minimum age of the student for joining would be 5 years. It will be mandatory to commence the lessons from the very basic lesson in order to have a strong foundation. Each student will be considered as a fresher at irrespective of their age and previous training. Each child / Adult will be assessed before seeking enrolment. There will be no lesson on Sundays.

India has a rich variety of folk dances. They reflect the tradition and culture of various regions. The folk dances have vibrant music and costume. Life experiences and relevant incidents in the community are seen in almost all of these folk dances. Bollywood dances one of the most popularly seen dance items are performed at almost any gathering. Folk, Bollywood and contemporary classes are also rendered to students .Many of her students are recipients of School competitions.

Mohiniattam, is a classical dance from Kerala. Believed to have originated in 16th century Mohiniyattam was popularised as a dance form in the nineteenth century by Swathi Thirunal, the Maharaja of the state of Travancore .The noted Malayalam poet Vallathol, who established the Kerala Kalamandalam dance school in 1930, played an important role in popularizing Mohiniattam in the 20th century. Lasya element of dancing is predominant in mohiniattam .Like many other Indian dance forms the aspects of Mohiniattam can be divided mainly into two - Nritha (pure dance) and Nrithya (expository dance).
