Siddhivinayak Temple

The mission of Shri Siddhivinayak Temple is to serve community by offering a place to worship, practice spirituality, celebrate festivals and cultural activities. Shri Siddhivinayak Temple believes in Hindu Philosophy. The main Deity is Lord Ganesh, the Remover of Obstacles. Lord Ganesh is offered prayer before commencing any auspicious undertaking.The Temple is dedicated for the service of community, where citizens of community can congregate, offer prayers, attend study group and group discussions. The goal of temple is to bring like–minded people together, to unite in prayers, and arrange lectures of inspiring speakers to uplift people spiritually. Shri Siddhivinayak Temple will be celebrating various festivals that fall in calendar year. Main event will be Ganesh chaturthi a ten-day event commemorating birth of Lord Ganesh. Temple will also celebrate Thanksgiving Day as a “Service Day “ to community. Youth and adults will participate in collection of food, distribution and serving through city ‘s community service program and Senior Center. Shri Siddhivinayak Temple will serve community on three levels, Body, Mind and Intellect. For health and fitness of body Temple will conduct Yoga classes on weekly basis. Health seminars will be conducted with emphasis on exercise and nutrition. Ayurvedic Practitioner as well as Physicians of different background will be invited to speak on various health issues. As Temple’s goal is to serve community. Temple will host cultural activities like music concerts, classical dance performances and plays depicting stories from Hindu Mythology. Eminent Artists from around the world will be invited to perform. Temple will encourage local and amateur talent to perform on various occasion. By organizing cultural events the thirst of Mind is fulfilled. For Seeker of intellectual stimulation Temple will focus on worship and philosophy.
