Shainna
Suspira is a multi-award winning dancer, instructor, and choreographer and the owner and director of the Orlando Bellydance Academy in Central Florida. She is well know for her many years as the featured bellydancer at the Walt Disney World Resort in Epcot’s Moroccan Pavilion, and for her warm, energetic performance and teaching style. She has performed for Saudi Arabian Royalty, the former President of Turkey, the Prince of Morocco and countless celebrities and has been featured in performances, workshops, and television programs across the United States and abroad and has been an instructor for over 20 years. Shainna is a multifaceted dancer and instructor that is trained in both Bellydance as well as the beautiful dances of India including Bollywood, Folk, Bhangra and Classical Dances including Bharat Natyam, Kathak and Kuchipudi. Her talents have brought her to the stage at Madison Square Garden, Jacob Javitts Center and New York City Hall. Shainna can be seen dancing locally at the Arabian Nights Dinner Show as well as many local Arabic restaurants. As an instructor, Shainna enjoys sharing the captivating art form of Bellydance, Yoga, and Indian Dance and has a part of Orlando Bellydance and Orlando Bellydance’s “Orlando Dance Theatre”.
