Apni Puja

This puja is performed for the long and happy life for you and your family. This can be performed on any auspiscious day or for birthdays, for marriage anniversaries, for long life of any ill person in the family, for a new baby, etc. This consists of Ganesh puja, Navagraha shanti puja, and havan.

Abishek is performed to various deities. This is again performed for your prosperity and well being so that God can shower you with his/her blessings. The deities are bathed with Panchamruta (Milk, Honey, Curd, Ghee, and Sugar). Then Archana is offering flowers chanting the names of God. Then Puja is performed followed by aarti and prasad.

This puja is for any new house that you want to live in or any new business place you want to start your business in, for our prosperity in the new place that we are going to move in. Gruha Pravesh/Vasthu Puja is performed by the owner and family members in the new house/business at an auspicious time. The ritual is to drive away any ill effects of planets or any evil force. There are some important pujas or havans conducted on that day. Ganapathi puja, Navagraha Puja, Laxmi Puja and Havans are performed followed by aarti and Prasad.

Sai Satya Vrata is performed by Sai Devotees on any day for any various achievements for offering gratitude to the Lord Sai. This vrata is for Shri Saibaba. This was initiated by Bhimaji Patil of Narayangao, a village in Maharashtra. He started this vrata of Sainath instead of Satyanarayana Puja. This vrata is performed by offering prayers to Lord Ganesha first, then Navagraha puja (Nine planets), then Saibaba puja. A Story of Saibaba is read followed by Aarti and Prasad.

Satyanarayana Vrata is performed on any major occasion like marriage, house warming ceremony, etc. It can be performed on any day for any various achievements for offering gratitude to the Lord. It is usually performed on Full Moon day (Pournima). It is said that a devotional performance of this puja will bear children to couples trying to start a family. Satyanarayana is Lord Vishnu. The vrata is performed by offering prayers to Lord Ganesha first, then Navagraha puja (Nine planets), then Satyanarayana puja. A Story of Satyanarayana is read followed by Aarti and special Prasad (Halva with Bananas).
