At Khel we do further research with Robotics & Sensors”. Srinu Lade, our Robotics Tutor is conducting research in Compass Sensor, Magnetic sensor, Barometric sensor, Color sensor with capability to detect 16 colors., (Regular color sensor that comes with the Kit can detect only 6 colors), Gyro Sensor, Acceleration Sensor, VEX Robotics and Controllers with Robot-C Language.
The LEGO MINDSTORMS Education is a programmable robotics construction Core Set that gives you the power to design and build programmable robots using high quality motors, sensors, gears, wheels, axles, and other technical components through which you can control your own LEGO robots. By using hands-on robotics, students will gain a better understanding of how technology works in real world applications. The new LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 set includes everything you need to create any of 17 robots and make them walk, talk, move and do whatever you can imagine
Each year FIRST LEGO League releases a Challenge, which is based on a real-world scientific topic. Each Challenge has three parts: the Robot Game, the Project, and the Core Values. Teams of up to ten children, with at least one adult coach, participate in the Challenge by programming an autonomous robot to score points on a themed playing field (Robot Game), developing a solution to a problem they have identified (Project), all guided by the FIRST LEGO League Core Values. Teams may then attend an official tournament, hosted by our FIRST LEGO League Partners. Past Challenges have been based on topics such as nanotechnology, climate, quality of life for the handicapped population, and transportation. By designing our Challenges around such topics, participants are exposed to potential career paths within a chosen Challenge topic, in addition to solidifying the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) principles that naturally come from participating in the program. Team members also learn valuable life and employment skills which will benefit them no matter which career path they choose. Get ready. Get set. Roar!
This course will help students build up skills that they will need to play with Arduino Uno. The course will be focused more on hands on practice than theory. Students will be encouraged to perform experiments and build some simple projects in class. After completing this course, student should be able to DIY an Arduino project independently.
This course seeks to not only prepare students for the SAT II Subject test but also provide them with preparation at the pre-collegiate level for future Introductory Biology Classes. The class is focused more on understanding core concepts and biological mechanisms rather than simply memorizing basic biological principles. Syllabus: Cell Theory, Biochemistry, Cellular Transport, Cellular Respiration, Genetics, Cell Replication and Division, Mendelian Genetics, Evolution, Taxonomy, Animal Structures, Behavior and Viruses, Plant Structures, Ecology, Cell Signaling Pathways and Development.
At Khel Creativity Club, we offer high school chemistry classes to middle school students so they can have an upper hand when they enter high school. We start out with an in-depth analysis of different chemical elements and numerous patterns of the periodic table. Later, we learn why these properties exist by studying the different components of atoms and how they interact. We also look at real-life examples of everything so that students not only understand the theoretical concepts, but also the practical uses. Syllabus: Atomic Structure, Matter, Chemical Reactions, Stoichiometry, Equilibrium, Solutions, Acids and Bases, Gas Laws, Thermodynamics, Organic Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, and Basic Lab Procedures
