Shruti was very patient and worked on my hair for 5 hours. I have been to different salons and very few times I got the result I wanted, but this time the result is as I wished for so far. I washed my hair after 3 days and it is still pretty straight.
I traveled all the way from Maryland to Virginia, it was completely worth it. I had a Japanese hair treatment done, and I waited to take a shower and see if the straightness lasts afterwards, and surprisingly it did. She was kind, patient, friendly, and passionate. To sum everything up, she knows what she is doing.

Went and did a Japanese straightening treatment on my course, curly hair and Shruti was absolutely amazing! She handled my hair with care and explained every step of the process. She accommodated my requests in terms of privacy because I wear Hijab and haircut. Her communication and energy were such a joy. After several months of not taking care of my hair in quarantine and too long between treatments, I finally went in to see Shruti and had the Japanese Straightener touch up done. I had no idea how far gone my hair was (a botched highlight attempt at a salon had fried it beyond belief) until she walked me through what she would need to do to get it back to a healthy state, along with the treatment. She was knowledgeable and meticulous. The end result is a healthy head of hair that I can run my hands through and is so soft and shiny! I drove 1.5 hours to get to Shruti’s Bridal Salon and let me tell you, it’s worth it to drive twice that to bring your hair back to life like she did mine. I had the Japanese thermal straightening done by Shruti and wow, my hair still looks great! Before, my hair was unruly, frizzy, damaged, broom-like, and poofy from over washing it, curling irons, and flat irons. It really has been a life changing experience since. My hair looks nice and straight and so much more manageable. Shruti told me what was happening every step of the way and her friendly personality made the process time fly by! Now, I can just shampoo my hair and blow dry in 5 minutes and it is straight and healthy looking. I stopped using heat styling tools all together. I have already recommended Shruti to all my friends and I am so pleased I travelled from California to Virginia just to get this treatment done by Shruti. I have been visiting Shruti for Japanese Permanent hair straightening every year for almost 3 years. Needless to say, she is very patient and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Unlike the permanent hair straightening at other places that makes your hair look pin straight after the treatment, Shruti does excellent job with straightening that looks naturally straight and the products she uses are also of high quality that leaves the hair shining and smooth after the treatment. I drove from Maryland to get Japanese Hair straightening, protein treatment and haircut from Shruti's Salon and it was definitely worth it! All I can say is WOW!! Complete hair transformation. My natural hair is very thick, frizzy, unruly and curly and so I was looking forward to the Japanese hair straightening and it did not disappoint!
