I am a performing hindustani classical vocalist and a tabla player. I specialize in Vocal Training, Hindustani Classical Vocals, and Tabla Lessons. I am trained Indian classical musician and performer. Fortunately, I belong to a family of musicians from Dharwad in India. I started learning Hindustani Classical music at the age 5 in Kirana Gharana. I have experienced the positive influence of Hindustani/Carnatic music in my life. I strongly believe that music has a positive influence on neurological development of kids as well as adults. Music is a combination of Physics and Mathematics that creates positive Chemistry between the universe and us. Music is an art of expressing ideas and emotions in beautiful forms like rhythm, melody, tones, harmony, etc. Music is a feeling or emotion. For a right-handed person, the left side of the brain receives and processes the lyrics and right side gets involved with melodies. Rhythm perception and processing are also functions of the right brain. So, in any classical music where only instruments are involved, wind or strings, along with percussions, the musical experience activates the right brain. "One size does not fit all" - I create a curriculum that is tailored to the individual needs and have fun while learning. I got an opportunity to learn few colors of Mewati Gharana under the guidance of Pt.Sougata Banarjee(Disciple of Pt.Jasraj). I am currently continuing my classical music journey under the guidance of Pt. VijayKumar Patil from Kirana Gharana and also my aunt- Sulabha Datta Neeralagi who is disciple of Dr. Gangubai Hangal. Rated 5.0 I started taking vocal classes from GaneshJi from an year now. I have witnessed great progress in my pitch and singing abilities. I must say his deep knowledge not only with Hindustani Classical but also in Semi Classical, Ghazals, and surprisingly in instrumental music is commendable. It is hard to find genuine teachers these days and I am fortunate that I found one. My son started taking Tabla lessons from GaneshJi and he is loving it. In just a few months I can see a marked improvement in his pitch and his understanding of music. Hoping to continue this journey with him and transition to instrumental soon.
