Sringeri Vidya Bharati
Sringeri Vidya Bharati Foundation Inc. (SVBF USA) serves as the official and first overseas affiliate of Sringeri Sharada Peetham, established to promote the rich Vedic heritage and philosophical tradition of Adi Shankaracharya in North America. Registered as a 501(c)(3) in New Jersey, SVBF functions under the revered guidance of His Holiness Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamigal. Its spiritual headquarters, the Sringeri Sadhana Center, situated amidst the serene Pocono mountains in Stroudsburg, PA, is dedicated to Goddess Sharadamba, Ganapati, and Adi Shankaracharya. Since hosting its Pratisthapana Utsavam in 1995, the Foundation has fostered an environment for religious worship, cultural teaching, and community growth. SVBF USA extends its outreach through regional chapters—such as SVBF North in Michigan and SVBF South in Texas—that conduct rituals, Vedic education, youth programs, and cultural events in alignment with scripture-led values. The Foundation continues to expand its spiritual mission through temple construction, educational programmes, and charitable initiatives, fulfilling its vision to sustain Vedic wisdom, rituals, and philosophical learning throughout the United States.

Rated 5.0 One of the beautiful Hindu temple in houston area. Very peaceful temple. This temple constructed newly and very big temple.
Rated 5.0 Those who were complaining about the temple have been doing things according to their whims without abiding by religious conduct. If you want to start creating new rules and practices, you might as well stay at home without coming to a temple that was built and run by religious and orthodox folks. No, no matter how progressive you may want to feel, women and non-dwijas do not chant Vedas. You want to do it? Sure, go ahead but don't get upset when you get reprimanded while doing it in public. Preserving Sanatana Dharma does not mean you should create new practices and act progressive. The lady who was upset because someone told her not let her hair down in temple, you should not go to the temple without tying it. Letting your hair down may seem fashionable but the temple is a traditional, religious place. Untied hair as per Sanatana Dharma is associated with unfortunate events like grieving, etc. Please stay at home if you want to act progressive and "challenge religious norms" in temples.
