I advice to all individuals, H1B/any VISA workers, immigrants, all my people from Indian or Asian origin, and everyone, who is planning to or referred to take any kind of service including tax filing service from #Neil Mukherjee or any of his consultancy firm named #SMART TAX CORPORATION within Newton /Chelsey MA location DO NOT WORK with #NEIL MUKHERJEE OR ANY OF HIS COULSULTANCY FIRM NAMED #SMART TAX CORPORATION WITHIN NEWTON /CHELSEY MA LOCATION OR IN USA I asked #NEIL MUKHERJEE (owner of #SMART TAX CORPORATION Chelsey Newton MA) for doing our 2019 FY taxes. As we communicated over email, #Neil Mukhergy asked 1099 HC doc from me which I don't had at that time. While I was looking and waiting to find that 1099 HC doc, I received email from #Neil Mukhergy saying he already completed my draft tax return and asked me to pay his fees of $350. Due to this suspicious act, I decided to walk away from him. Because he didn't filed my 2019 tax returns, I choosed NOT to pay his fees. As a result, #Neil Mukhergy First,against me and my wife,filed a court case for small claim trial (Docket number ending 00472) in Woburn District Court of MA with claim amount of $390. While I was shocked to see this notice, I got another notice from All Debt Collection agency, forcing me to pay another $550.00 amount for his client #NEIL MUKHERJEE for the same above reason. We went through this trauma when we are expecting our very first baby. Attached is my full review on google.

Rated 1.0 First, all the 5-star reviews for this company are by people who work there - I know because they've emailed me from company emails. Read on for a review from an actual paying client. I set up a consultation call with Neil this July to get professional advice on some tax questions. Neil's behavior on this call was extremely unprofessional, and he was not able to answer even straightforward questions about a tax filing that he claimed to be an expert in. In the end, I had to hire another tax advisor to get the job done, so this was a complete waste of time and money. First, Neil did not confirm our call time until **after** the call was supposed to start. Second, once the call started, Neil said he was expecting a call from another client, which he'd need to take. This call came 30 minutes into our call, and Neil said he'd call me back later, **without specifying whether that later would be 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or 3 hours later**. When he eventually called me back **45 minutes later**, I expected we'd have another 30 minutes, to make the full hour I had paid for. However, Neil interrupted the conversation again not even 20 minutes into it, to let me know that we were almost out of time and that I'd have to pay for a 2nd hour in order to continue the conversation. When I argued that we still had a few minutes that I wanted to use for a couple more questions, Neil hung up on me. If you need professional and competent tax advice, you certainly won't find it here.

Rated 5.0 Neil gave us a great detailed and thorough consulation about each step we need to take in starting our new business, and was very patient. He handled the entire process and even did some business consulting with us (doesn't hurt to have your CPA be a successful business man as well). He took care of all the registration forms, licenses and followed up to make sure everything was set. He has completely simplified the entire process for me. He is now also handling our book keeping and payroll as well
