The best local Indian cuisine in New York. Come try our exclusive traditional Indian dishes like Dosa,idli,and more drinks, and desserts. India Kitchen has been around since 1965 and started with just a humble storefront. Back then, life was a little different. The milkman delivered your milk daily and we bought groceries from people we knew on a first-name basis. Today, we still believe in giving you the best. Because of this, we pride ourselves on having fresh, local ingredients every day. We like to think of our food as Canadian comfort food. You know, the kind your mom would have made.
Rated 5.0 The service is great but it's not licensed so bring your own beer or wine. It's a busy spot so get there early if you have onwards plans Ordered some starters and an entree along with all the trimmings, along with some soft drinks - $30 a head plus tip! Really exceptional food.

Rated 5.0 The food was delicious!! Owner and staff were excellent. They made us a favorite dish that wasn't on the menu - paneer tikka masala and it was perfect!! We landed here by accident because it was close to the place we were storing our luggage for the afternoon, but we will definitely be back - probably every time we're in NYC!! Thank you for a great lunch!! Check out the beautiful lamps they have too, right from India. Wish I could have purchased one!
