With a desire to bring authentic Nepalese cuisine to the heart of the Twin Cities, we have now opened Himalayan just across the river in Minneapolis. Come experience the flavors of Nepal, Tibet and India at the Himalayan Restaurant with a beautiful view of the Himalayan mountain range. We are open Tuesday through Sunday with our daily lunch buffet and dinner along with take out and catering available. So please come experience the flavors of Nepali, Indian and Tibetan cuisine! We invite you to experience the melting pot of Nepali, Indian and Tibetan cuisine. To ensure the quality of the menu items offered, each of our Chefs have specialized in a particular cuisine. Food that is sure to please any food connossieur and an ambience that is sure to provide a warm and exciting feel, Himalayan welcomes you to enjoy the unique experience and enlighten your taste buds.
Rated 5.0 I have never been so completely impressed by every piece of food brought to a table. This place is a little off the beaten path, but beyond worth the journey. The owner even let my sister and I try out the Nepalese musical bowls. Service: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Experience: 11/10
Rated 5.0 We lived in Long Beach for six years and would drive 40 minutes to our favorite Himalayan restaurant in Passadena. We'll be in LA in February but can skip our former favorite spot because we have great Himalayan food in minneapolis. You can't go wrong with the menu (great lamb dishes) or the buffet. They also have reasonably priced wine.
Rated 5.0 I'm very sensitive when it comes to food so it's very hard for me to find a food place that doesn't give me upset stomach. Finding this place was like finding food heaven to me And as a vegetarian, a lot of great options for me. Great food, great people, never let's me down
Rated 5.0 It's not easy to find a place to sit with the family and eat food that matches the taste of each one. But Himalayan Restaurant provides it all. Good place, awesome service, friendly host and delicious food make anyone (especially a Nepali) feel at home.
Rated 5.0 Absolutely love this restaurant!! We usually order lots of momos, and they are always fabulous! The owner and staff are always so welcoming and accommodating to my family. We have been going there for three years, always with our kids, and usually food ends up on the floor. I feel bad, but they are always so nice about it. You can tell that the owner likes kids. He brings them toys to play with, shows them musical instruments, gives them candy, etc. Best place!
