The Clay Oven
This traditional Restaurant is owned and operated by Jitu Mehta. The roots of his experience come from Mumbai, the City that never sleeps. The Clay Oven, is the labor of Jitu Mehta’s love. He takes pride in creating this entire menu; the taste and flavors are uniquely crafted by his experienced team. We have taken over the management of Neelam Indian Cuisine, an Indian Restaurant in Berkeley Heights. The Restaurant also has a banquet hall to accomodate 50 patrons.
Rated 5.0 Found this place when covid first started and no other Indian restaurant in the area compares. Their navratan korma and shrimp tandoori is outstanding! My husband and I order take out atleast 2-3 times a month. Thanks for the great food!! :)

Rated 5.0 I'm from Long Island, where there are over 100 Indian Restaurants. But The Clay Oven is my favorite, and I make sure to eat here whenever I'm in town. I have had many different dishes here, and I've never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and courteous too. If only I could give them even more stars!
