If bold flavors, aromatic spices, and a warm atmosphere are your thing, Deccan Spice delivers all that and more. Tucked away on a bustling street corner, this Indian gem offers a culinary experience that feels both comforting and exciting. We started with the Chicken Kabab, which came out sizzling on a hot platter. Tender, smoky, and perfectly spiced, the kababs were juicy on the inside with just the right amount of char on the outside. They didn’t last long at our table. Next up was the Paneer Tikka, and it was a vegetarian delight. The paneer was soft and well-marinated, with flavors that soaked right into the cheese. Served with tangy mint chutney, each bite was a burst of smoky, creamy goodness — even the meat-lovers at the table were impressed. For the main course, the Chicken Biryani was the undisputed star. Aromatic basmati rice layered with flavorful, spiced chicken, and topped with crispy fried onions — it had just the right level of heat and richness. The portion size was generous, and the accompanying raita added a cool contrast. As for the service — absolutely top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to offer recommendations when we were undecided. They checked in often without being overbearing and even shared a few insights on how their dishes are prepared. Overall, Deccan Spice hits all the right notes with quality food, warm service, and a menu that makes you want to come back to try everything else. Highly recommended for both casual dinners and special occasions.
