Peter Wynn Thompson
Peter Wynn Thompson is a native Chicagoan. He studied photojournalism at the University of Iowa before returning to Chicago as a freelance photographer. He has spent his career working for The New York Times, Financial Times, International Herald Tribune, Getty Images, the Associated Press and Agence France Presse photographing celebrities, politics, national news events and the Cubs, White Sox, Blackhawks, and Bulls. He photographed his first wedding in 2002 at the request of two friends (a photo editor and a photographer). His wedding work has been published in The Knot Magazine, CS Bride, Style Me Pretty, Landlocked Bride and Wedding Guide Chicago to name a few. When he’s not behind the camera, he can be found traveling with his family, rock climbing, drinking and brewing craft beer and binging on Netflix.
