From the moment we talked to Neha we knew she would put us at ease for our day. She handled everything with grace and poise always from our first meeting to our wedding day and even our much needed debrief afterwards when we didn’t want to let her go! It was an absolute pleasure working with Neha. We selected the day of coordination and additional pre-wedding help. We definitely needed Neha’s guidance when it came to vendors, budgeting and contract review. She was able to recommend vendors that worked well in her past events as well as helping us navigate the contracts to ensure we would be more than satisfied and certain guarantees were added. She never hesitated to answer our questions and in the rare cases she didn’t know the answer to something there wasn’t a doubt in our minds that she would find out the answer and get back to us. The budgeting tool she created was beyond our expectations and for a Type A bride and groom - working with Neha was truly a dream! She is someone who appreciates attention to detail, will be your biggest supporter and takes the time to understand family dynamics and does not shy away from explaining the why behind industry standards that we, being outside the industry, may not have understood. She always explained with a calm and amiable demeanor with no judgement - which we so appreciated . While she does this all the time, t’s not every day that we plan a wedding - nonetheless for almost 400 people! We had monthly meetings which we found helpful in keeping track of our progress for the wedding day as well as the pre events for an Indian wedding. Neha kept us accountable (down to making sure I packed deodorant for our wedding morning!) while understanding that we worked full time and was extremely flexible with meeting timings and deadlines, which we so appreciated. This monthly check in helped us get to know each other better so we can have a more successful event. She truly made everything a breeze - from vendor communication, tips and tricks, questions to ask, and consolidating the plethora of forms into one - Neha truly values your time and makes every meeting productive and task-oriented. The day of our wedding, Neha and her team were incredible. They operated professionally and kept to the schedule we had planned. One moment that stands out is when Lisa went out to my (the Bride's) Baraat car and pre-cooled the car with AC since the day was very hot out. It's attention to detail like this that solidifies our choice in Neha and her team. They were able to allow us to enjoy our wedding day (and actually have time to eat!) instead of being pulled into menial tasks that a bride and groom would normally run into on their wedding day. Prior to our day we thoroughly discussed common scenarios that may occur (uninvited guests, gratuity distribution, vendor check-ins...etc) that made the day run smoother knowing what we would want to happen in those situations and being prepared. We thank Neha and her team (Mari and Lisa) for allowing us to have an amazing wedding day. We cannot recommend Neha/Ask Neha Now enough for your event. As a stressed bride, I joked that I probably would’ve walked out of my own wedding if it weren’t for Neha and her team - yet I truly felt this way! Lisa, Mari and Neha were the best friends, body guards and teammates we didn’t know we needed! Having the help of an expert in the industry was an invaluable experience that undoubtedly made our planning experience less grueling and actually enjoyable. We booked Neha pretty early in our planning journey and she worked with us for over a year. She wasn’t only our planner, she was and is our friend, confidant and therapist in the inevitable chaos that is planning a large Indian wedding.
