Just yesterday, I had my sweet sixteen party for which I requested Shiza's hair and makeup services. I had a very positive experience with Shiza. She did my makeup and hair better than I had envisioned. I was surprised with how the makeup and hair both stayed in place for the whole day. Most importantly, I was looking for a makeup artist that could travel to my house and Shiza made that possible. My mom also got her makeup and hair done by Shiza and really loved her services. Shiza did my hair, makeup, draping, and jewelry placement for a couple of professional photoshoots. Very few artists can do both hair and makeup well. She does both excellently and incredibly fast, which is key when running late or in time crunches and very indicative of her skill level. Her studio is also very cute!! You feel like a superstar getting hair and makeup done.

Shiza was absolutely amazing to work with. We hired her for my daughters wedding and some pre wedding events. She listened to all our requests, but more than that she came up with more great ideas to make her look even better. The make up and hair came out perfect, very dramatic and popping for the photos but still not too overdone for real life. Beyond just her make up and hair skills, she brought great energy and kindness. She was very patient, upbeat, made us all feel excited but still comfortable. I had a very rigorous time schedule for my wedding and reception but she was with me bright and early along with her team members for hair and make up for myself and my bridal party, and they all did a phenomenal job. I had two different looks for my wedding and my reception and Shiza did a great job with making sure both looks were both different and distinct. Shiza was professional throughout all the services, and made me feel both reassured and comfortable as I left my bridal look in her hands. I had a lot of questions in terms of what I could do better for my hair and skin and Shiza was very forthcoming with answering those questions for me. I also went in for a trial a few weeks before my wedding, and I’m so glad that I did. Shiza was able to take notes on my skin tone and products that would work best for the look that we were trying to achieve. She really takes her work seriously and you can see that in her passion for her profession. I truly would recommend all brides consider getting a trial done for that reason alone. Shiza’s work truly does speak for itself and I was lucky to have had her as my hair and make up artist!

Shiza is a great hair and makeup artist! She is a New Jersey based makeup artist. I booked her from Dayton, Ohio for a wedding in Somerset, New Jersey. Although it was last minute booking, she was very flexible and accommodating! I had no clue what type of eye makeup I wanted, and I thought Smokey Eye would’ve looked good with the outfit but she suggested a couple other options that were trendy, & I’m so glad I decided to go with her choice of makeup look! If I could give Allison a thousand stars for a review, I'd definitely would! I had a weekend event in Monroeville that I decided to attend in the very last minute, and in one of the days (Sunday) I had some photo ops with celebrities scheduled. I had ordered hair extensions as I was planning to bring them so she could apply it, however they didn't arrive in time before my long drive from Toronto (Canada) to Monroeville. Allison not only was the only hairstylist/makeup artists that promptly accepted to take the appointment on a Sunday early morning, but also she managed to find the perfect hair extensions to glam me up. I loved both the hair and makeup, and the photos turned out to look amazing! So, if you are in Pittsburgh area and need a professional that not only is very talented but also is a very pleasant person, do not hesitate in contacting Allison

I got married on April 2, 2022. I actually moved here as a Canadian to marry my fiancé on a fiancé visa. We had a small ceremony with only immediate family and I planned the wedding in about a month (since you have to be married within 90 days). I used Allison for hair and makeup for myself and two bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing. She did a great job of doing exactly what everyone wanted, while working with very different skin tones. She also was very good and staying on schedule, we were actually ready a little early. I would highly recommend her for any event you have. I hope this review helps someone!

I cannot say enough good things about Allison! She came to the hotel we were getting ready for my wedding and had two additional hair and makeup stylists. She did my hair and makeup, and the two other stylists did my bridesmaids, my mom, and my step mom's hair. My mom, step mom, and MOH also had their makeup done. Everyone looked amazing! Weeks prior she came to do my hair and makeup trial at my house. We didn't get the hair perfect that day, and she reached out to ask if she could come back and do a second trial because she wanted to make sure it was going to be perfect for my wedding day! She is so easy to talk to and made my trials and wedding day relaxing and fun! I didn't even know that I could look as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. I kept saying I looked angelic! My hair AND makeup held throughout the whole day-- even all the happy tears!
