Nataraja School of Fine Arts (NSFA) based in Simi Valley, Ventura County, CA, is dedicated to bringing quality and affordable Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dance instruction to Ventura County and the vicinity. There is a very active and dedicated Asian Indian community in and around Simi Valley who are interested in introducing Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi to the next generation children who are raised here in America. However, there is no actual dance studio in Simi Valley, where such people can send their children. Having the formal training and extensive stage experience performing Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi styles of classical dance, NSFA fills an important cultural gap within the local Asian Indian community.
