I was so incredibly happy with VIDHYA, she was such a pleasure to be around it felt more like I was hanging out with a friend than hiring a makeup artist. She was accommodating and friendly, never overdoing the makeup, but rather making you feel like an even prettier version of yourself.?? I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the beautiful MAKEUP , SAREE DRAPING and HAIRDO. Everything lasted throughout the day. I received so many compliments on how I looked and felt so comfortable, natural and beautiful. I wore my makeup for almost 10 hours and I never felt like there was anything on my face. Never in my life have I felt so beautiful.?? VIDHYA was amazing! She predraped my saree to exactly my measurements and made the perfect thin pleats. I recently availed saree draping (9 yards madisar), makeup, and hairdo services from Vidhya for a very special occasion, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome! Saree Draping: The saree was draped with absolute precision and elegance. Since it was a 9 yard saree extra care had to be taken when draping with measurement and required Tamil Iyer Style. It stayed perfectly in place throughout the event and looked both traditional and stylish with well pleated pallu over my shoulder. Vidhya was skilled, quick, and knew exactly how to enhance my body type with the right way of draping the madisar. Makeup: The makeup was flawless! It was done tastefully, without being over-the-top. Vidhya paid close attention to my skin tone and preferences, resulting in a look that was both natural and camera-ready. Hairdo: Vidhya created a chic and elegant hairstyle that complemented my saree and face shape perfectly. I initially went to Vidhya mainly for saree draping for my house warming ceremony. I am usually not used to makeup on a regular basis but did had a part of me want to try it as I wanted to look special on our special day. Vidhya gave me the confidence to try it and was happy to get a trial make up too. That boosted my confidence and I was able to convey what i wanted. Vidhya was exceptional in listening to my needs and also suggesting what would go well. Got excellent feedback from everyone who attended the function, and both the saree and makeup stayed in tact till late evening untill I removed them. Extremely satisfied with Vidhya’s saree draping and make up services. She is throughly professional and paid attention to every detail of my request. She has a very friendly personality. I was completely convinced that I’ll look my best on my wedding day post her trial make up session only (was a detailed session where she took ample time to understand me and customize her services specifically for my needs).She nailed the very minimal makeup request for my D day. Absolutely excellent saree draping service! Vidya was professional, courteous and answered all my questions about the draping process. She prepleated, pinned and ironed my saree and packed it so nicely- it was perfectly preserved on the international flight to my daughter’s wedding destination. I went in today for the Gold Facial with Chetna Jee after reading raving reviews about her. I have to say, she lived up to them. The massage that she does is unlike any other. I have had facials done from many places in States and abroad, but nobody comes close to the massages she does. Also, when she cleans whiteheads / blackheads it's painless and I mean literally. I had booked Monalisha Salon & Spa for my brother's wedding for a few of us. Jyoti and her daughter came to our hotel, prepared with everything we needed for hair, makeup, and sari wearing services. They were very affordable, incredibly professional and super talented. We did not feel rushed and at the same time were out the door and on time as we scheduled our services to be. I would highly recommend them for anyone in the Houston area for wedding services. I live in the east coast and am not familiar with the Houston area at all. I was nervous about who to book and how it would all turn out -- but it was perfect and Jyoti was very prompt in communicating to ensure I felt at ease. We never had services for little girls (hair) which were added on at the last minute and they were happy to oblige and be flexible. Thank you so much for making the special day turn out perfectly!

Someone looking at my review might ask themselves why an African American woman is going to an Indian specialty salon. The answer is simple, I went in because my Black, White, Scottish, Mongolian, Hungarian, Irish, Bohemian daughter had very thick curly hair and I use under the impression that her hair texture might be pretty close to what the styles at this salon have experience working with. Well guess what, I was half right. Thought the styles were at first a bit apprehensive about tackling the thick tangled jungle that is my angles crown they were all extremely respectful and caring. I brought my daughter in for a haircut for her 6th birthday and she got treated like a Princess! We will definitely be clients here for a long time.

I did an organic facial with Chetna. She was so kind and informative as it was my first facial. I was surprised on how smooth my skin came out to be. A few marks on my skin has even faded away. I usually come for my eyebrows here which everyone does an amazing job. However, now I have to add a facial for sure when stopping by again. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Truly one of the best services I’ve gotten.

I have been here about 4 times now. They customer service is wonderful! I highly recommend this place for men's eyebrows. The staff members are very friendly and professional. They are also taking good COVID-19 precautions, so you will definitely feel safe. This place is a little out of the way for me compared to the previous salon I would go to, but the pricing and great service make it worth the drive! I am definitely going to be a regular customer now.

Amazing salon hands down! I just got my eyebrows done for the first time and they didn't even hurt! And was only $5! I am so glad with the results and will definitely be coming back! I took some before and after pictures to show how amazing my eyebrows look. Update: I came back here to get my eyebrows done my Mrs. Jyoti and they look so good! I don’t think anyone else can make my brows look as good as she does! She’s so sweet and is very light handed to it doesn’t even hurt when she threads my brows! Parking was easy since it is part of a shopping center. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff. If you are lucky you will meet Jyoti the owner. She is an absolute sweetheart. I got a facial, threading & hair cut and style by Minaz. All I can say is she has magical hands!!! This mama walked in feeling and looking completely exhausted. I left feeling like a million bucks. I feel like Minaz took years off my face! You should go & try it out for yourself, you have nothing to loose and EVERYTHING to gain!!!!!!!
