Rated 5.0 If you're looking for something different or even if you've tried Indian food previously and didn't care for it, you must give Saalna a try. You'll be hooked! I went with a party of 7 and the staff was very attentive, patient and kindly explained the dishes to us. They will adjust the "heat" to your suiting too which opens up more menu choices. The service from beginning to end was impeccable and I'll definitely be a regular!
Rated 5.0 The food brings Dindugal to Texas. Must try Non veg pandhi, dindigul briyani ( made with authentic seeraga samba rice) and traditional fish fry. Ordered a pandhi but they also gave biriyani to taste. Lot of foods to explore. Definitely going back there. Kudos to the ambience which brings back back-home memories. My verdict: Must try food and definitely a place I will go very often.
Rated 5.0 I had dinner there last night. It was an amazing treat. The extensive menu and quality of the food is superb. I had my favorite - Paneer Tika Masala and it was fantastic! In terms of ambiance it is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been in. The wall murals are a work of art and innovation and worth th trip to see. The food presentation is absolute class. I will be going again this weekend.
Rated 5.0 Even though there are lot of Indian restaurants every nook and corner of Dallas, i would say SAALNA was one of the best south Indian restaurant. Ambience was great with realistic photos from various festivals of Tamil Nadu. The authentic taste of south India (Pandhi) was great and final touch of cutting tea was so good. I would highly recommend to try out this restaurant at-least once and you will keep going Appreciate the Serving with smile.
