At Nruthya Shakti Dance Academy, we focus on creative folk dances of India and semi-classical and contemporary forms of dance. As a student you will get to learn the below forms of dance. Bhangra, Gidda, Ghummar, Lambaadi, Lavani, Koli, Kalbelia, Gobbilu, Karma Naach, Naati, Karagam, Dandiya, Garba, Tera Taali, Dumhaal, Kolattam, Charkula, Sambalpuri, Bihu, Malwa, Kombuattam, Tippani and more.

Vandita has always been reliable resource for us and her students work very hard and enthusiastically to excel and give people a good experience. The audiences love them and so do the board members. She brought the origins of indian dance back into the modern world and successfully teaches not only the dance itself, but the background and theory behind it. Folk dances are rural and have specific forms, so online you can find members of community performing it.
Rated 1.0 Disgusting dance school! Vandita Parikh is fraud. She copies from other dance teachers without their permission. The woman plays dirty games in competitions to get the wins. She has no idea what she is doing in the name of indian folk dances. She has not done arangetram and copies from other artists youtube videos to teach in class and to teach all wrong. she has not taken any trainings from darpana academy of mallika sarabhai. she abuses kids by holding her hand tight, harming them and asking them to shut their mouth. she serves government and calls her veteran and so anybody who questions her are pulled in worthless investigations and this is at the cost of innocent kids. Is this what veterans do ? harm innocent people? none of her students know real folk dances or are even close of indian folk dances. It is like a big hole for them. All they can do is stay inside the dirt. BEWARE OF THIS DANCE COMPANY. FRAUD. NRUTHYA SHAKTI DANCE ACADEMY IS FRAUD DANCE COMPANY HARMING KIDS. WE TOOK PRIVATE LESSONS FROM HER AND ENDED UP BURNING OUR HANDS. When we did the dance and our audience told this dance is copied and it is not a folk dance. name of folk dance: garba and dandiya. this women has serious issues with her life. she yells at students and her own kids. this is not what veterans stand for. I will not give even 1 rating to this fraud dance school. It is not allowing to rate so gave it.
