Dancers In Motion
Taheerah Allen, director of Dancers In Motion, began her dancing career thirty-two years ago at the age of 4. Her achievements when competing in various competitions throughout the tri-state area has resulted in multiple top honors. She was crowned “Little Miss American Star” 1987 and “Miss EPA” in 1994, 1995, 1996 consecutively. With vigorous hard work and dedication, Taheerah has trained at Montclair University in NJ, and Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Throughout her journey she has had the honor to train under Frank Hatchett and Charles Kelly. She pursued her teaching degree from the Dance Educators of America. Our staff has impressive backgrounds, having danced and competed with DIM and college teams as well. They continue to learn and improve themselves by attending Broadway Dance Center Dance Teacher Workshops and classes. We are always learning from each other and expanding our dancing abilities.
