Priya D. Patel is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of the Technology Companies group. Ms. Patel represents public and private companies in all aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, strategic alliances and financings. Ms. Patel provides general corporate representation for emerging growth companies and counsels clients on startup and formation matters, corporate governance and venture capital financings. Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Patel was an associate in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher &Flom LLP. Ms. Patel served as a law clerk to the Honorable Samuel H. Mays, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. While attending law school, Ms. Patel was a senior editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law.
