About Anup Suresh Lawyer

Anup Suresh is a registered patent attorney at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner. His practice focuses on patent procurement and development of business-focused patent strategies covering electrical, software, mechanical, and computer technologies. Prior to joining Schwegman, Anup served as in-house counsel and patent portfolio manager at two Fortune 50 companies, where his responsibilities included managing multiple patent portfolios, developing and executing patent strategies for several products and business units, invention harvesting, patent filing decisions, and internal client counseling, outreach, and patent training. Prior to that, he worked at the law firm of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton, where his practice focused on patent preparation and prosecution, patent counseling, patent litigation, IP due diligence for corporate transactions, licensing, trademark prosecution, and conducting freedom-to-operate, patent validity, and patentability analyses. Before entering the field of law, Anup worked as an embedded software engineer at the Boeing Company, where he helped develop and test avionics software for C-17 and C-130 aircraft. Anup received his J.D. from the Loyola Law School (Los Angeles), and his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
