Anjali Devudu Attorney, She represents multinational corporate clients on a broad array of U.S. immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visas, immigrant visas, and PERM filings. Prior to joining Fragomen, Anjali worked as an Associate at a boutique immigration law firm in New York, where she represented corporate and individual clients in a diverse set of fields, including technology and financial services companies, performers in the creative arts, research scientists, and those pursuing immigration on the basis of a familial relationship. She made frequent appearances on behalf of clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and the New York City Immigration Court. Anjali has also assisted clients in complex family-based adjustment of status cases, affirmative asylum applications and the immigration consequences of criminal pleas. Anjali previously served as an Immigration Attorney for Maitri, a Bay Area nonprofit helping South Asian immigrant women in situations of domestic abuse, cultural displacement and unresolved conflict. While there, she launched the agency's legal program by securing Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) recognition accreditation and counseled clients in gender-based asylum, VAWA and U visa cases. She continues to provide pro bono immigration services to Maitri as well as the San Francisco Pathways to Citizenship Initiative. While in law school, she received the Public Service Fellow with the Dean’s Highest Honors Award for providing over 500 hours of pro bono service. Anjali speaks English, Kannada and Spanish.
