Nanhita Chauhan
I been working with this industry last 10 yrs. I rent my own spa room at GiVan's salon and spa in Eden Prairie. I m very passionate about what I do, I love to do make up, facial massage, microdermabrasion, waxing, threading Here is the product website that I use in my spa.
Rated 1.0 We hired Nanhita remotely for two wedding events for a party of 4 last weekend, and it was clearly beyond her level of expertise. We needed someone who could do both make up and put on saris. Nanhita agreed to come to our hotel suite to provide both of these services. As it turned out, unfortunately Nanhita actually had no knowledge of putting on and pinning saris. My mother ended up having to pin all the ladies' saris. This defeated the purpose of hiring Nanhita for this service. In an ironic twist, Nanhita insisted that we still pay for the sari pinning service, even though her services did not extend beyond holding a box of safety pins for my mother as she put everyone's saris on. We did pay her for this just to get her to leave our hotel without causing further damage to an already stressful evening. Furthermore, we were all very shocked at Nanhita's lack of professionalism. She was clearly overwhelmed by the amount of people trickling in and out of the suite, and had a meltdown when she finished with everyone's make up, and began yelling at my relatives after extra persons inquired if she could do their make up as well. She could have politely declined, but instead she proceeded to rant at my relatives. Her behavior was disgraceful.
Rated 1.0 Nanhita's make-up skills are good but her lack of professionalism / rude behaviour is appalling and wholly negates any technical skill. I would not recommend her services to anyone. Even if you're unable to find another desi make up artist in the area, you'd be better off at a MAC counter with real make-up professionals. More specifically, preparing for a stressful wedding event at the hotel of the client is beyond Nanhita's professional capacities and I would advise others to seek out a real make up professional for a big event. Based on the other reviews, it appears that Nanhita should stick to her salon services like waxing, facials and threading.
