She is an exceptionally dignified, dedicated, and inspiring teacher who truly stands apart in today’s world. Dipanwita Ji teaches purely out of love for the art, giving personal attention to every student, whether beginner or advanced. Her fees are very reasonable, and she consistently goes above and beyond to help her students grow and challenge their limits. Her annual Kaleidoscope recital is a magical experience, with powerful dance dramas often centered on women empowerment that leave the audience completely captivated. We feel truly privileged to be associated with her.

Even though we are separated by a significant geographical distance, the experience has felt incredibly close and personal. My daughter attends her Bharatnatyam and Creative Dance classes entirely online, which I initially thought might be a challenge, but Dr. Dipanwita Sengupta Roy has made the transition seamless and deeply engaging. What I appreciate most as a parent is the sheer level of organization. Dipanwita shares the full class schedule at the very beginning of each month, which helps us plan our busy family life around her sessions. Furthermore, the practice videos shared after every single class are an absolute lifesaver. It allows my daughter to revisit the intricate footwork and Mudras during her own practice time, ensuring she doesn't fall behind just because she isn't in a physical studio. Teaching children of this age—especially through a screen—requires a special kind of magic, and Dipanwita has it. She is remarkably patient and careful with every student. She manages to maintain a respectful, disciplined environment while ensuring the kids are actually enjoying themselves and falling in love with the art of dance. She is completely unbiased and goes out of her way to make sure every student, whether local or remote, feels seen and valued. What truly impresses me is how Dipanwita balances the complexity of a hybrid classroom. It is not an easy feat to teach a room full of students in person while simultaneously keeping a remote student engaged, yet she manages both groups with equal care and attention. She is incredibly mindful of her online students, ensuring they are never just 'watching' the class, but are active, corrected, and encouraged participants. She even holds special sessions specifically for those of us on the screen to ensure we are mastering the nuances that can sometimes be tricky over video. The level of professionalism and organization here is a parent's dream. We receive a clear class schedule at the start of every month, which is essential for our family planning. Additionally, the practice videos Dipanwita shares after each session are invaluable; they allow my daughter to refine her movements during the week, bridging the gap between the screen and the dance floor. She presents classical techniques alongside creative movement in a way that feels approachable and engaging for learners at all levels. Her supportive and thoughtful teaching approach creates a comfortable learning environment, and she is highly attentive to individual progress while encouraging collective participation. Learning creative Bharatanatyam for the first time has been enjoyable and motivating. Her choreography suits different songs and blends traditional steps with creative ideas. These classes help me stay active and also relax my mind. I truly enjoy learning from her and look forward to continuing my Bharatanatyam journey. :)

I had never learned any dance form before—this was my first time—and being introduced to Bharatanatyam through her guidance made the journey even more special. Rated 5.0 I joined kaleidoscope creative dance class in 2023 as a beginner . I consider myself lucky to be part of this dance group and to be guided and taught by my very talented guru Dipanwita Sengupta who happens to be a good friend . I have grown as a dancer and this keeps me grounded . I would recommend this dance school which teaches bharatnatyam as a base and creative dance to one and all for all age groups .
